Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of 十六 JŪROKU (“the App”). By using the App you agree to these Terms. How personal data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy. The Japanese version prevails if the two differ.
1. About the App
The App is a free rhythm game that runs in your browser. It is run by an individual as a hobby project; its contents and features may change, and the service may be suspended or discontinued, without notice.
2. Account and record sync
Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Google, your best scores, World Tour progress and added song links are stored in the cloud and shared across your devices. You can delete the stored records at any time from the Settings screen. Cloud records may be lost due to failures, changes or operational reasons — keep anything important separately (for example by saving the result image).
3. Audio files and links you load
- Audio files from your device are analysed and played only inside your browser and are never sent anywhere. Please keep such use private.
- If you paste a song link (a Suno URL), you are responsible for making sure you have the right to use that track. The App does not copy, store or redistribute audio; it streams directly from the linked source.
- Linked services (such as Suno) may change or shut down, in which case a track may stop playing.
4. Prohibited conduct
- Anything unlawful or offensive to public order, or that infringes the rights of others
- Placing excessive load on the App’s servers, or accessing them without authorisation
- Signing in as someone else
- Otherwise interfering with the operation of the App
5. Intellectual property
The App’s code is published on GitHub under the MIT License. The bundled songs, cover art, and the “十六 JŪROKU” name and logo are controlled by the operator and may not be copied or redistributed for any purpose other than playing the App.
6. Disclaimer
- The App is provided “as is”, without any warranty of operation, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
- The operator is not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the App, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
- The App contains flashing and light effects. If you are sensitive to light, take care, and stop playing immediately if you feel unwell.
7. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be revised as needed. Revisions take effect when posted on this page, with an updated date.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute concerning the App is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the operator’s location, as the court of first instance.
